Melissa Hamilton, DMD
Dr. Melissa Hamilton was born and raised in Scottsboro, AL, where she graduated from Scottsboro High School. Dr. Hamilton completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham with Bachelors degrees in chemistry and biology and a minor in business administration. She attended dental school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).
Dr. Hamilton initially dated her husband Josh in high school. After maintaining the friendship, they were married in June of 2013. Josh is also a graduate of Scottsboro High School. He is an engineer employed in Huntsville, AL.
Dr. Hamilton and her husband have two daughters, Evie Cate and Emma.
Dr. Hamilton is a proud "Aunt Issa" to her three nephews (Jackson and Conner Precise, Easton Hamilton) and one niece (Embree Hamilton). She loves spending time with family and friends, cooking and baking, and reading a good book at the beach!

Beverly is a native of Scottsboro and has been married to her husband David for 45years. She has two children, Dave and Melissa. She also has two grandsons, Jackson and Conner, and two granddaughters, Evie Cate and Emma! They get spoiled every time they call her "Bevvy"!
Beverly enjoys scrapbooking, gardening, searching Pinterest for a new crafty project, and loving on her grandbabies.

Dental Assistant
Erika Akins was born in Bolivia, South America and raised in Section, Alabama. She attended and graduated from Section High School. She attended the CAP Stone Dental Assisting Program. After years of being a dental assistant, Erika pursued her hygiene degree from the ADHP Hygiene program at UAB where she received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2017. Erika joined our team at Precise Family Dental originally as a dental assistant in 2016 and became one of our hygienists upon graduating from her program.
Erika loves to make patients feel great about their smiles through education and encouragement of their daily routines and treatment options.
When Erika isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Lilli and their cat, Tiger.
