  • What age should I start to bring my child to see the dentist?

Did you know that the ADA and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists recommend that your child see the dentist no later than their first Birthday?

- The visit consists of a knee to knee exam with the dentist and parent/guardian. We mainly check which teeth are present, and to make sure no cavities are present. It is a great time for education on the recommended amount of juice and other sugary drinks in the child's diet. We go over brushing to insure hygiene is being carried out correctly at home. This visit also helps the child get used to all the sounds in the dental office, so that future visits are more comfortable and familiar.

  • How often should I floss?

It is best to floss between your teeth daily. All the plaque build up that you acquire in a day is enough to have you floss your teeth once a day along with brushing your teeth twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed.

  • What payment methods does your office allow?

  • Why are xrays important?

Xrays are used to see more than just the surface of your teeth. Xrays are used to check the decay between the teeth that your dentist may not see. It is also used to check the bone levels of your teeth and to check on the problems you may be having that are below the surface, like

tooth movement
